Second Annual Savannah PAWrade
11 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 29, Lamara Street, adjacent to Habersham Village. Hosted by Jacob G. Smith Elementary and TailsSpin. Events include pet costume parade and contest, celebrity judges, music and food, children’s carnival, local artists, dog wash, pet nail trimming and TailsSpin’s signature low-cost pet microchipping and vaccine clinic. Halloween Dog Costume Contest
Noon-1 p.m. registration, 1-2 p.m. contest, 2-5 p.m. match, Oct. 30, Daffin Park. The Savannah Kennel Club will be hosting their Annual Halloween Doggie Costume Contest and a Match Competition in Breed, Obedience, and Rally. Costume contest: $5 per dog; Match competition: $10 per dog. All proceeds from costume contest go to a rescue group. PetSmart Charities Weekend Adoption Event

4th Annual Save The Animals “Sock Hop”
7-11 p.m. Nov. 19. Tybee Island American Legion. Event features live DJ and show from “Girlfriends” featuring songs from 40s, 50s, 60s girl groups. Delicious food, catered by North Beach Grill, silent auction items — just in time to pick out your holiday gifts at great prices. Tickets are $25.
