PET EVENTS
Second Annual Savannah PAWrade
11 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 29, Lamara Street, adjacent to Habersham Village. Hosted by Jacob G. Smith Elementary and TailsSpin. Events include pet costume parade and contest, celebrity judges, music and food, children’s carnival, local artists, dog wash, pet nail trimming and TailsSpin’s signature low-cost pet microchipping and vaccine clinic. Halloween Dog Costume Contest
Noon-1 p.m. registration, 1-2 p.m. contest, 2-5 p.m. match, Oct. 30, Daffin Park. The Savannah Kennel Club will be hosting their Annual Halloween Doggie Costume Contest and a Match Competition in Breed, Obedience, and Rally. Costume contest: $5 per dog; Match competition: $10 per dog. All proceeds from costume contest go to a rescue group. 4th Annual Save The Animals “Sock Hop”
